“Buy Back Your Time” by Dan Martell is an energizing guide for entrepreneurs and professionals who feel resource constraints. I love a good business book that has a nice blend of practicality and theory. Written with laser-sharp clarity, the book flips the script on productivity by showing that time isn’t something you manage—it’s something you invest. The approach combines big-picture mindset shifts with highly practical frameworks, like the buyback loop, that give you permission to delegate, systemize, and ultimately focus on the work (and life) that lights you up. I’ve implemented several systems this season– those that allow me to focus on the party of my job that I like the most– the people!
Adolescence on Netflix. “Adolescence” is the kind of show that hits you right in the gut—raw, tender, and at times uncomfortably honest. It doesn’t gloss over the mess and certainly challenges any teen parent (c’est moi included). I visited this recently because of its Emmy nomination and I’m so glad…. This is one of those rare shows that sits with you long after.
The Good Whale by Serial. As a dedicated follower of narratives that challenge our perspectives and stir our emotions, I found myself captivated by *The Good Whale*, the latest release from Serial. This thoughtfully crafted exploration takes us beneath the surface, immersing listeners in the intricate relationship between humanity and the ocean’s gentle giants. This is the back story to Free Willy and the outstanding efforts to restore the real Keiko to the wild. It’s beautiful, inspiring and a fascinating look at the relationship between Keiko and his caretakers.
