This is by no means an exhaustive list of activities on the island for kids but a general place to start when you are first looking to get involved.

Bainbridge Parks and Rec

Many clubs both public and private use the BI Parks and Rec system for enrollment for coordination of on-island activities. This includes: camps (summer and break), swimming lessons, arts, nature programs, sports leagues, & more.

Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network

BARN is a non-profit makerspace and learning place, that has studios for everything from Electronic & Technical Arts to Woodworking. Take a class, work on a project, or come to share your knowledge.

Dance

Bainbridge Dance Center

Founded in 1981, Bainbridge Dance Center is dedicated to providing high-quality dance education focused on cultivating curiosity, generosity, and professionalism. Offering a variety of classes according to age and skill.

Bainbridge Ballet

Founded in 2003 by Sara Cramer, with a purpose to spark creative passion through accessible movement education, create a safe and loving space for authentic self expression, and ensure quality artistic experiences for every person, at every age and stage of life.

Soccer

Bainbridge Island Football Club

BIFC is the local club for select soccer. Since 1983, they have been been helping young players develop in the game around Kitsap County.

Bainbridge ROOTS

is a select feeder club for boys and girls grade 4-8, focusing on long term athletic development and prepare them for High School Basketball and beyond.

BI Boys Lax offers select lacrosse for boys and has a long and storied history as a competitive program in the PNW.

Bainbridge Island Rowing

Bainbridge Island Rowing started in 2001 and is a 501(c)(3) organization working to build a multi-generational Kitsap County rowing community from our base at the Stan Pocock Legacy Rowing Center in historic Eagle Harbor.

IslandWood

IslandWood is an environmental education nonprofit that is well known in the entire Puget Sound but happens to be on Bainbridge. They have wonderful summer camps and occasional weekend activities.
