Virginia Mason Bainbridge Island Medical Center
From a medical perspective the largest group on the island is Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, located on Wintergreen just off the northeast corner of 305 and High School Rd. In addition to primary care services they house the only current urgent care on the island as well as multiple subspecialties such as Cardiology, Orthopedics, Dermatology and Rheumatology. There are multiple other, smaller primary care facilities on the island, all located in the Winslow area. For additional specialty care, there are options available in Silverdale as well as some in the Poulsbo area.

Tutoring
Old Boar
A tutor-supported Drop-in Study Hall in downtown Winslow on Bainbridge Island, where high school students gather to conduct their studies with the support of a Tutoring Help Desk for core academic subjects. Students work independently or with their peers, getting help as they need it with specific assignments, essential study strategies, and organizing their workloads.

Think Tank
Think Tank Learning Center is a great resource for students grades 2-8 to accelerate their learning in a peaceful environment. Offering camps, after school classes in subjects such as foreign languages, coding, STEM, and digital media production, students complete their work in a study hall with access to full use of office supplies including a printer. Think Tank classes are around $120. Tutoring costs vary depending on the age of the student, the class and of course, how many sessions will be needed.

Island Educational Services
Structured programs in a variety of settings- individual or small group. They have a broad program including specialized support for private schools and small groups related to social skills, mental health, communication and other adjacent student development. They have specialty programs for ADHD and EF.

Bainbridge Youth Services offers FREE and CONFIDENTIAL professional mental health counseling and facilitates a thriving peer tutoring program. When youth step into BYS, we listen and we learn from them. We assure them that they are not alone in their struggles. We know they can navigate any obstacle – with a little help.
