2023 End of Year Message

I came out of last year feeling such an immense gratitude for my role. I am proud of my sales for the year- yes (of course). We ended the year with 42 transactions— 26 buyers and 15 sellers and over 50 million in real estate sold. Of those, 23 of those families were on island which landed me as the #2 broker overall. We were recognized by the Bainbridge Review as a Bainbridge Best team, brokerage and individual as well as by Seattle Agents Magazine as a Top Agent.

I sold 7 waterfront properties, and 5 more view properties. 4 families were first time home buyers, 3 families are downsizing and 7 families moved to our area from out of state. I said goodbye to several friends and hello to several more and 7 of my projects this year came from repeat clients and 10 were from referrals from you!

I am more proud though of what’s behind those stats— because there are some very real human stories. I helped 18 dogs find backyards, (cats, I’m less sure about) and 26 kids picked out their room paint color. That work is so personal and I’m proud to say that I know every kiddos and dog’s name! Maybe less resume worthy but I definitely helped catch bugs, blow bubbles, kicked a soccer ball and played a few rounds of eye spy while parents had difficult conversations.

On the other side, I helped 4 families prepare for a significant family change- families combining, unexpected departures, multi generational living requirements, health-related downsizing.

It’s an honor to be on the journey with you and I am humbled that you let me be part of what is often a vulnerable and anxiety ridden time of life. It’s truly a blessing that I have made such wonderful friendships through my work.

I love my work fully because of the people in it.
