This event, held in collaboration with the island's LGBTQ+ community, is a testament to Bainbridge Island's inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. Attendees are invited to revel in an evening of camaraderie, live music, and, of course, exceptional wine. The winery's warm and inviting ambiance sets the stage for an event that not only commemorates Pride but also underscores the island's commitment to fostering an environment where everyone can embrace their authentic selves.

Next on our journey is the Black & Boujee Exhibition Opening Party at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art on January 13. This event promises an immersion into the world of contemporary Black artists, showcasing their creativity, perspectives, and contributions to the art scene. As the islanders gather to explore this exhibition, the museum becomes a cultural hub, inviting individuals to engage with the diverse narratives presented through various mediums. The crescendo of the week culminates in the Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service on January 15, a collaborative effort orchestrated by BI Metro Parks, IslandWood, Sustainable Bainbridge, and the BI Parks and Trails Foundation. This day of service is a testament to the island's commitment to collective well-being and environmental stewardship. Volunteers of all ages come together to partake in conservation projects, from planting native wildflowers to mulching young plants and removing invasive species.
