Welcome August! This month is often the busiest — wrapping up camps and classes before the little ones go back to school, school supply shopping, and hanging onto the little bit of summer we have left. These events help me to unwind and give myself a break. Here’s to this week’s events!
First up, we have the Creative Exchange Open Studio at Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network (BARN). This monthly informal meetup invites you to explore what people are working on across various studios. A great opportunity to share your own projects, gather feedback, and find inspiration. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just curious about the creative process, this event is perfect for learning and sharing in a collaborative environment. Bring your friends and family along to see the amazing projects happening at BARN and connect with like-minded individuals in the community.
Next, we have R E P O S A D O's live performance. Described as soothing yet profound, R E P O S A D O's music brings a fusion of Latin and Afro flavors, funk, jazz, and Afro-beat. This unique blend guarantees to get your body moving. The band's music is an international invitation to dance, with an energy you can’t help but get up and move your feet.
Finally, we have the Bainbridge Pavilion Concerts. This series of live music events features an exciting lineup of performances from various artists across different genres. The venue’s excellent acoustics and comfortable seating ensure a great experience for all. Bring the kids and grandparents because this event is family-friendly! Summer Courtyard Concerts at the Pavilion
The Bainbridge Pavilion Concerts are a series of live music events held at the Bainbridge Pavilion, offering an exciting lineup of performances from various artists across different genres.
The Pavilion itself is a great venue, designed to create an intimate yet energetic atmosphere for both performers and audiences. Excellent acoustics and comfortable seating (my fav!). Every concert here feels special. Jazz, blues, or folk, you’ll enjoy every bit of it.
