Holiday Champagne Extravaganza 2024
The Holiday Champagne Extravaganza 2024 is an exciting new event happening on Wednesday, December 4, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network (BARN). Designed to celebrate the holidays with elegance and cheer, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of champagne in a festive, hands-on setting.
Participants will delve into the complexities of this iconic sparkling wine, learning about its history, styles, classifications, and labeling. Guided by experts, you’ll taste a curated selection of fine champagnes, including non-vintage, blanc de blancs, blanc de noirs, rosé, and vintage expressions. This diverse lineup provides a comprehensive look at champagne’s versatility and sophistication.
The event also highlights champagne’s exceptional ability to pair with food. A small plate of appetizers will be provided, giving attendees the chance to experiment with flavor combinations and better understand the nuances of food and wine pairing.
