Elves on the Shop Shelves

This December, downtown comes alive with holiday cheer, thanks to the exciting Search for the Downtown Elves! Beginning on December 1st, a fun and festive scavenger hunt kicks off in participating stores throughout the area, inviting shoppers of all ages to hunt for hidden elves and win prizes.

Here's how it works: Each participating store will offer "Elf Bingo Cards" to shoppers. These cards act as your map to finding the elves cleverly hidden in store displays. As you explore the downtown shops, keep your eyes peeled for these mischievous little elves tucked away in various corners and nooks of each store. Once you spot an elf, simply head to the store's checkout desk where you’ll receive a stamp on your bingo card to confirm you've found that store’s elf.

The more elves you find, the better your chances of winning a fantastic prize. To enter the grand prize drawing, you must find at least 10 elves across the participating stores. When you’ve spotted 10 (or more!) elves, bring your completed bingo card to the Calico Toy Shoppe by December 23, 2024, to enter the drawing. The lucky winner will be chosen on December 24th, just in time for a special holiday gift!

This event is a great way to get into the holiday spirit while supporting local businesses. Not only does it add a touch of magic to your holiday shopping, but it also encourages community engagement and exploration. Whether you’re a seasoned elf hunter or a first-time participant, the Search for the Downtown Elves offers a perfect mix of fun, festive energy, and the chance to win a wonderful prize.

So, grab your Elf Bingo Card, start your search, and don’t forget to enjoy the charming downtown shops along the way. Whether you're shopping for holiday gifts, discovering new stores, or simply enjoying the holiday decorations, there’s plenty of seasonal joy to be found as you hunt for your lucky elves.

Remember, the hunt ends on December 23rd, so don't wait—start your search early and be sure to turn in your completed bingo card at Calico Toy Shoppe for a chance to win! Good luck, and may you find all your elves hidden in the most unexpected places!
