Outside Mullingar

This week, Bainbridge Performing Arts is hosting a captivating performance of Outside Mullingar, a heartfelt play by the renowned John Patrick Shanley. Set in rural Ireland, the story centers around two neighboring farmers, Anthony and Rosemary, and their exploration of love, loss, and the complexities of family dynamics. The Kids Craft Club event is free of charge, and all necessary crafting materials will be provided. Each session has a unique project that allows kids to explore different types of arts and crafts. This week’s project is centered around creating colorful paper art, encouraging kids to experiment with colors, shapes, and textures in their designs. Festive Winter Cocktails

Get ready to shake things up this week with Bainbridge Barn’s Festive Winter Cocktails mixology workshop! This hands-on class is perfect for anyone interested in adding seasonal flair to their cocktail repertoire. Led by Christopher Gronbeck—an experienced instructor and former owner of The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar in Seattle—this workshop will guide participants through crafting four unique, winter-inspired cocktails designed specifically for the season.

The workshop takes place on Thursday, November 16, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the Kitchen Arts Studio at Bainbridge Barn, located at 8890 Three Tree Lane NE. In this two-hour session, participants will mix cocktails in pairs, creating drinks featuring darker spirits and warm, festive flavors. It’s a great opportunity to bring a friend or meet new people while you learn practical bartending techniques and enjoy tasting your creations

This event is open to ages 21 and up, and attendees are encouraged to eat beforehand, as the class will involve alcohol tastings. A $25 materials fee, included in the class price, covers all ingredients and tools needed for the session, and you’ll leave with recipes and home-bartending tips to elevate your holiday gatherings. Note that closed-toe shoes are required, and advance registration is necessary—no drop-ins.
