This November feels a little different… so I’m bringing the normal thoughts of gratitude but also peppering in some stress eating, mindless laughter and political research. You know— the spectrum.
November is officially pie season—time to trade in your salad for a slice of something sweet! Whether it’s pumpkin, apple, or pecan, every bite is a little taste of fall magic. A friend of mine is a devotee of this small business and we’ve been grateful to try their pies the last few Thanksgivings. It’s pretty spectacular. If you are looking to show up to the holiday and impress your friends and family— I highly recommend!

As many women of a certain age— Dirty Dancing was a fixture of my adolescent monoculture. I also have a long time love of the Muppets so when a friend forwarded me this- it hit me hard.
This one won’t change your life- but maybe it’s ok this week to take a pause and have a quick giggle.
