Golf

There are two primary places to Golf on Bainbridge itself- the country club and the community course. Both are sweet in their own ways and offer community and education opportunities.

Wing Point

Wing Point at 811 Cherry Avenue is a country and golf club. It has an 18-hole golf course featuring 5,664 yards of golf. Wing Point also has a seasonal swimming pool, a nice restaurant, a space for events, and programs and classes for golf. The golf classes and programs are available to women, men, kids, and couples throughout the year. There are a few levels of membership all the way from ownership, to golf, to recreational only (no golf.). Last reported, the wait list to join is long. (206) 842-2688. More

Meadowmeer

Meadowmeer in the mid part of the island is a par 3, 9 hole golf course and community club. Meadowmeer also has a grill, snack shop, tournaments, and leagues for a variety of demographics. Although the drives are shorter at Meadowmeer, the access for novice players is fantastic— they even allow youth to golf independent of adults. There are also facilities with putting greens, sand traps, and chipping greens. Monthly dues are about $130 a family, can be included in home ownership for the Meadowmeer Community and they also have a daily rate. (206) 842-2218. More
