Helpline House is a local food bank providing social services free of charge to residents of Bainbridge Island. When volunteering at helpline you help distribute and prep food for families in need. This volunteer experience is great for community members who want to gain skills, make new friends, and help make our community a better place by supporting families in need. Rotary

Rotary Club at 1187 Wyatt Way NW is where locals come together to create lasting change. Rotary Club provides students with scholarships, provides the community and local businesses with grants, volunteers at events such as the annual Pumpkin Walk, Halloween in Winslow, and much more. Rotary is a part of a World Community Service (WCS) in Africa helping with freshwater drilling in Uganda as well as micro-financing projects in nearby villages. The annual Rotary Auction grosses more than half a million dollars a year and puts most of the money into local services. LandTrust

The Bainbridge Land Trust is an organization committed to preserving the green spaces on Bainbridge. Much of the work of the land trust is to educated, preserve, protect, and celebrate the beauty of Bainbridge. They are running a bold campaign called “Stand for the Land” which has placed down payments on 66 acres with the intent of safeguarding critical habitats.
