Just Sew Series

The instructors are there to guide you through everything step by step. They'll show you how to use the sewing machines and help you understand the patterns. Stand-Up Comedy with Sam Miller

Join Bainbridge Performing Arts for a night of stand-up comedy featuring Sam Miller and special guest Lynette Manning. Sam Miller, originally from Olympia, Washington, is not just known for his towering height but also his quick wit. He's a proud father of two, celebrating 12 years of marriage and 15 years of sobriety. Sam brings a unique perspective to comedy, often poking fun at the challenges of sober parenting and sharing humorous tales from his time in Yakima jail. His album "Round Trip," produced by Grammy-winner Dan Schlissel for Stand Up! Records, soared to the top of the charts. He's a regular on the nationally syndicated "Bob & Tom Radio Show" and contributes to Newsweek. Sam's comedy career includes being runner-up in the 2021 Seattle International Comedy Competition and winner of the 2017 Comedy on Trial Competition. He's headlined at iconic venues like The Laugh Factory and toured nationally with the Addicts Comedy Tour, performing at conventions across the country. In Olympia, he's a three-time winner of "The Best of Olympia" awards. Following Sam, special guest Lynette Manning, also from Olympia, brings her own comedic flair as the first female member of U Got It Productions. She's graced stages at Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Comedy Club and Tacoma Comedy Club, showcasing her humor that resonates widely. Lynette has earned spots at renowned festivals such as the Moon Tower Comedy Festival, where she captivates audiences with personal stories from her professional life and experiences as a mom. The show's runtime is approximately 90 minutes of non-stop laughter.
