It’s one of the biggest community events of the year, packed with fun and tradition, but it can also get a little hectic if you don’t know what to expect.
Here’s a quick guide to help you plan your day:
Kick Things Off Early – July 3rd Street Dance
Start the celebration a night early with the annual Street Dance at Winslow Green!

Soul Siren (7:30–11 PM)
🌮 Food trucks, dancing, and a whole lot of community spirit. This is a must-do for locals!
July 4th – Grand Old 4th of July Events

Classic Car Show
📍 Waterfront Park Lane
🕗 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Vintage cars and family-friendly fun right by the water.
Street Fair & Vendor Market
📍 Along Winslow Way
🕘 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Local artisans, nonprofits, food trucks, and live music throughout the day.
Kid Zone
📍 Near Town & Country Market
Games, bounce houses, and fun activities designed just for kids.
Touch-A-Truck & Fire Truck Display
📍 Corner of Winslow Way & Madison Ave
🕙 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
A hands-on hit with younger kids!
Live Music Stage
Performances throughout the day on Winslow Way by local musicians and DJs.
Grand Old 4th Parade
📍 Starts at Bainbridge Library, runs down Winslow Way

Floats, marching bands, dance teams, and lots of candy!

Downtown parking is very limited, so here’s what we recommend:
Free Shuttle Service
🕙 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (pause at 1:30 PM)
Park at Ace Hardware and ride to T&C Market
Overflow parking available at Kitsap Bank
Shuttles operated by Fieldstone Rolling Bay & Bainbridge Senior Living
Priority seating for mobility-challenged riders
Other Options
Park at Bainbridge High School or side streets and walk into Winslow
Arrive by 9–10 AM for best parking options
Local Tips
Bring water, sunscreen, and comfy walking shoes
Pack a blanket or chairs for the parade
Portable restrooms are available throughout the event area
Leave pets at home if they’re sensitive to noise or large crowds
