Battle Point
The Battle Point and Arrowpoint neighborhoods are centrally located to the hubs of Bainbridge’s outdoor activities, namely Battle Point Park and its multitude of activities and the Grand Forest with its miles of trails. Many of the homes in these neighborhoods are on larger plots and the area is heavily wooded. In addition, the neighborhoods constitute a peninsula and as such has multiple waterfront options, whether along the calm waters of Fletcher Bay, overlooking the Olympics to the west, or along beautiful Manzanita Bay.

Battle Point Park
This is the most popular park on Bainbridge Island with about 400,000 resident visits annually and it boast numerous tennis and pickleball courts as well as baseball and soccer fields. In addition, there are miles of trails within the park itself for those looking for a well-protected jog. And for the little ones there are multiple play structures, including the newly-constructed, two-level, 47-foot-long ferry and its surrounding entertainment. The park designed to be fully accessible and safe with elements like a wheelchair-friendly We-Go-Round spinner and extensive soft surfacing to minimize impact from falls. As the name of the park implies, it is closely linked to the military. For example, the two pillars and fencing at the entrance of the park were built during the World War II to protect classified work being done by the Navy.
Cross Island Trail
Beginning (or ending) at Battle Point Park, this 5-mile trail transects the island. It takes you from the shores of Battle Point neighborhood and its Olympic views, through Battle Point Park and then the Grand Forest, concluding at Manitou Beach and its views of Seattle and Mt. Rainier.
