We have officially entered into the big grey. I’m getting ready for next year already and spending some time prepping photography for some beautiful waterfront listings that will be coming our way in the spring– so with that workflow- I’m getting a fair amount of windshield time these days. I wanted to share some intentional listening that’s been filling my day and fueling my heart.

What brings me joy this month!

The mornings are just starting to show a bit of crispness in the air and I’m giddy with the love of back to school season.  I still have kids at home, so this summer sprint is an exciting time of dreaming of new opportunities. Days are full of gratitude for the slower days of summer while knowing that there is something exciting right around the corner. 

For this month, I have some tools that are part of my daily arsenal to share.

The days are getting longer but I don’t think anyone can argue that February weather around here was expected. I am chock full of entertainment recommendations coming into the Month.

Love is in the air.  February always has a little bit more pep and frankly after the snow false alarm from last week, it’s nice to be bathing in blue skies, even it its a little frigid out. Good opportunity to snuggle next to the fire with a loved one.

This may come as a surprise to no one, but I really love my job.   I love the enthusiasm of the new year, and the genuine excitement I have for the families that will be making transitions this year. It’s not surprising then, that this time of year has the similar crispness and optimism that the start of the school year has for a little one. I am sharing this month some of my favorite tools. 

This November feels a little different… so I’m bringing the normal thoughts of gratitude but also peppering in some stress eating, mindless laughter and political research. You know— the spectrum.

Spring is here!! I certainly am feeling some pep in the step these days. This spring has brought a lot of really beautiful inventory and it’s been fun reconnecting with past clients and new and finding new opportunities for folks as they think about their next step.

This time of year is always a favorite of mine-- I enjoy Black History Month, and International Women's Day... as much as 'enjoy' is really a reflection of growth and introspection. That said, I came across this article a few months ago and it really sat with me for a bit. As a B-School alum, I have spent a lot of time reflecting on my leadership style and how I interact within the context of a team. It's important to me-- as is community. I have a very high inclusion score... ;)
