One of the true joys of living on Bainbridge is the general lack of traffic. Most of the time you can consistently rely on the standard “10-15 minutes to get anywhere” rule. One of the best ways to experience Bainbridge is through exploration of our wine community! We have several wine options locally and a few tasting rooms that I’d recommend. Many of these locations offer deep discounts if you become a member of the wine club. In addition to its wineries, Bainbridge has a distillery and brewery in Copper Top and Bainbridge Brewing has a tasting room downtown.

There are two excellent options for golfing on Bainbridge and a couple more within a short drive off island.

It is fair to say that Bainbridge has never been known as a foodie hotspot. That said, the number and quality of good options continues to increase and there are a many great options out there if you are looking for delicious food and a great night out with family or friends. While most places remain located in Winslow for the increased tourist traffic, there are a number of fantastic options around the island.

There are numerous parks to explore and enjoy the outdoors via trails, ponds and shoreline. There are less traditional playgrounds on Bainbridge but here are a handful that are worth exploring.

There are many opportunities to participate as an adult in the arts on the Island.
