Traffic On Bainbridge Island
One of the true joys of living on Bainbridge is the general lack of traffic. Most of the time you can consistently rely on the standard “10-15 minutes to get anywhere” rule. Traffic is generally reliable and COBI does a nice job of texting out and alerting you of any new developments (accidents, trees down). That said, the island is not without its spots and it can be helpful to learn them and plan around them. The most significant area is definitely 305, though there are also a couple of other sites that are worth noting.
The Bainbridge Island Guide to Trick or Treating
Given its overall family-friendly attitude, it is not shocking that Bainbridge is a great place to go trick or treating for kids of all ages. Fortunately, the weather usually obliges and provides a wonderful evening of yums and boos and an opportunity for the kids to go out, see some friends and amass the biggest stash of treats that they can. But it can require a little planning in advance as many parts of the island are “lights off” on that night. To cut to the chase, trick or treating on Bainbridge Island can be broken down into 1) Winslow and 2) island neighborhoods.
